First Unitarian Church

Unitarian Universalism (UU) is a progressive, creedless religion with a strong, decades-long history of championing LGBTQ+ rights and incorporating diverse spiritual paths, including Paganism. UUs have ordained gay/lesbian ministers since the 1970s and officially support marriage equality, transgender inclusion, and comprehensive sexuality education.

CUUPS: The Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans (CUUPS) is an officially recognized organization within the UUA that promotes Paganism, develops liturgies, and supports Pagan-identified UUs.

Unitarian Universalism provides a welcoming,, non-dogmatic structure where LGBTQ+ individuals and Pagans often find a supportive community. The UUA’s commitment to “the inherent worth and dignity of every person” brings these groups together in social justice and spiritual exploration.
